Carl Jay Carver, Jr., 81, of Cosby, Tennessee, took his final flight on June 11, 2026, leaving this world with the same quiet strength, dignity, and courage that defined his life.
A Celebration of Jay’s Life will be held on July 11 at Laurel Springs Christian Church, Cosby, TN. The family will receive friends beginning at 12:00 p.m., with the service following at 2:00 p.m. Family and friends are invited to share stories and honor a life lived fully and well.
Interment will follow at Waters‑Large Cemetery, with United States Navy military honors.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Laurel Springs Christian Church or to the Tennessee Farm Bureau Agriculture in the Classroom at tnfarmbureau.org.
